Cub Family Program - Learning the Value of Service
Lion Cubs are children of Lions club members in a Family Lions club. The Family Cub Program Activity Guide divides Cubs into three age groups, • Age 3 and under • Age 4-7
• Age 8-12.
Each activity, whether for a meeting, fund raiser or service project may be appropriate for all age groups (with some adaptations) and others that are more suited to a specific age group but all help children at an early age the value of giving and service to others. Family Cub Brochure
Leos Program - Building Character
Leos is for our 13-17 year olds. They constitute an international network of over 6,500 clubs in over 140 countries. Community service remains the cornerstone of the program, fostering a lifetime commitment to helping others. Like their Lion counterparts, Leo club members enjoy serving their neighbors and watching positive results unfold.
Leos not only build character but, as a volunteer organization, stands above all others on college applications when it comes to community service. At age 18, Leos can transition to Lions and continue their service both at home and campuses all over the world. Leos Brochure
Lions - Serving in Many Ways
Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion. Lions Clubs International is the largest service club organization in the world. Our 1.4 million members perform valuable service in 210 countries and geographic areas around the globe. Lions are friends, family and neighbors who share a core belief: community is what we make it.
Not all Lions are the same. Because Lions serve in so many ways, most Lions prefer to focus on a particular area. For some, fund raising to support programs from our local food pantry to college scholarships is their main focus. For other, working as transporters for our Lions Eye Bank is their passion while others choose to focus on our Lions Camp for Handicapped Children. Lions Brochure
